So May came around again, right on schedule as it generaly does, after a great long weekend that let millions of Tokyo people shake out the weary creases and unwind in the summer sunshine. We had - surprise - a colder than average April thanks to el Nina, and some sturm and drang weather on Saturday with massive temperature drop, huge bolts of lightning and hail to complete the Day After Tomorrow picture. But overall, it has been benign, as the pictures will show.
